Your 100WC entry is interesting because you are asking questions so many people wonder. Why did this happen? Why do people have to die? Throughout the history of humanity, natural disasters have been parts of life as, unfortunately, are wars. We have an active world, the reason life is possible on Earth but also the reason flood, fires, storms, earthquakes,… happen. Well done.
We are reminded nature is more powerful than us despite our growing level of technology and understanding. Our advantage in more modern times is the world can hear of disasters more easily and now has the ability to help those in need. Go back one hundred or even fifty years and such disasters could have taken weeks to be noticed, much too late for many.
I can see the care you have taken with spelling and punctuation but there were some places you missed adding a question mark. Just one small point, the prompt asked for a letter in a bottle for the people of The Philippines. A letter of reassurance brings comfort so reminding them the world knows and will help is important.
When I read your entry, I realised you have a good mind. Those who ask questions and seek answers can make a difference in the world. Perhaps one day you will be able to find and share answers to some of the world’s great mysteries. I hope you keep entering the 100WC. Curious minds need to share their thoughts. 🙂
